A young girl screams for help from a high-rise building in
downtown Sacramento. A young teen on his way back from shopping hears the plea
for help and despite the risk to his life dashes into the burning building to
rescue her. He barely escapes alive and when he returns with the girl, he
suddenly realizes as the police and firemen rush to him that there's no girl in
his arms.
This event is the beginning of a number of strange events
that leads to him discovering that he has been tested by the Princess of
another world. Another universe. A place where all living things are comic book
characters drawn by someone at some time in our world or elsewhere. Her name is
Cartoon. He has been granted the power to draw on power from the super heroes
of comic books.
And so begins a series of adventures that exposes the young
teen to danger and evil as he learns he harness his new powers and deal with a
woman who is not human, whose skin glows at night, which can't be hurt by
earthly weapons, but has all the emotions of a female of our world.

more evil villains and monsters to battle. He begins to realize nothing will
ever be the same for him again. He's no longer just a teenage kid going
to college and holding down a part time job.
